| Vuttañhetaṃ bhagavatā, vuttamarahatāti me sutaṃ – | §26. This was said by the Blessed One, said by the Arahant, so I have heard: | Так было сказано Благословенным, так было сказано достойным (арахантом), так я слышала: | |
| "Evañce, bhikkhave, sattā jāneyyuṃ dānasaṃvibhāgassa vipākaṃ yathāhaṃ jānāmi, na adatvā bhuñjeyyuṃ, na ca nesaṃ maccheramalaṃ cittaṃ pariyādāya tiṭṭheyya. | “Monks, if beings knew, as I know, the results of giving & sharing, they would not eat without having given, nor would the stain of selfishness overcome their minds. | "О монахи, если бы существа знали как я результат дарения и разделения [с другими], они не принимали бы пищу не подав, и также они не позволяли бы скверне скупости, завладевая умом, оставаться в нём. |

| Yopi nesaṃ assa carimo ālopo carimaṃ kabaḷaṃ, tatopi na asaṃvibhajitvā bhuñjeyyuṃ, sace nesaṃ paṭiggāhakā assu. | Even if it were their last bite, their last mouthful, they would not eat without having shared, if there were someone to receive their gift. | Даже если это был бы их последний комок, последний кусок, они не ели бы его не разделив [с другими], если есть кто-то, кто может принять. | |
