8.Rājā āha "bhante nāgasena, yattha manoviññāṇaṃ uppajjati, phassopi vedanāpi tattha uppajjatī"ti?

King Milinda said: “Revered Nāgasena does feeling arise where mind-consciousness arises?"
The king said: ‘Where thought (mental perception) is, Nāgasena, is there always sensation?’
Царь молвил: «Почтенный Нагасена, если возникает умное сознание, то возникает и ощущение?»
"Āma, mahārāja, yattha manoviññāṇaṃ uppajjati, phassopi tattha uppajjati, vedanāpi tattha uppajjati, saññāpi tattha uppajjati, cetanāpi tattha uppajjati, vitakkopi tattha uppajjati, vicāropi tattha uppajjati, sabbepi phassappamukhā dhammā tattha uppajjantī"ti.

“Yes, your majesty, where mind consciousness arises, there too contact, feeling, perception, intention, applied thought, and examination arise, and all mental states that arise there are led by contact.”
“Yes, sire, where mind-consciousness arises there contact arises, feeling arises, perception arises, volition arises, applied thought arises and sustained thought arises, and all mental states that arise there are headed by contact.”
‘Yes, where thought arises there is contact, and there is sensation, and there is idea, and there is conceived intention, and there is reflection; and there is investigation.’
– Да, государь, если возникает умное сознание, то возникает и ощущение, возникает и распознавание, возникает и побуждение, возникает и задумывание, возникает и продумывание, возникают все дхармы во главе с соприкосновением224.
