5. Paṭhamaesanāsuttaṃ Палийский оригинал

54.Vuttañhetaṃ bhagavatā, vuttamarahatāti me sutaṃ – §54. This was said by the Blessed One, said by the Arahant, so I have heard:
"Tisso imā, bhikkhave, esanā. “Monks, there are these three searches.
Katamā tisso? Which three?
Kāmesanā, bhavesanā, brahmacariyesanā – imā kho, bhikkhave, tisso esanā"ti. The search for sensuality, the search for becoming, the search for a holy life. These are the three searches.”
Etamatthaṃ bhagavā avoca. [This is the meaning of what the Blessed One said.]
Tatthetaṃ iti vuccati – [So with regard to this it was said:]
"Samāhito sampajāno, sato buddhassa sāvako; Centered, alert, mindful, the Awakened One’s disciple
Esanā ca pajānāti, esanānañca sambhavaṃ. discerns searches, how searches come into play,
"Yattha cetā nirujjhanti, maggañca khayagāminaṃ; where they cease, & the path to their ending.
Esanānaṃ khayā bhikkhu, nicchāto parinibbuto"ti. With the ending of searches, a monk free from hunger is totally unbound.
Ayampi attho vutto bhagavatā, iti me sutanti. [This, too, was the meaning of what was said by the Blessed One, so I have heard.]
Pañcamaṃ.
