Sappiviññāpanasikkhāpadaṃ
|
|
|
|
1.Yā pana bhikkhunī agilānā sappiṃ viññāpetvā bhuñjeyya, paṭidesetabbaṃ tāya bhikkhuniyā "gārayhaṃ, ayye, dhammaṃ āpajjiṃ asappāyaṃ pāṭidesanīyaṃ, taṃ paṭidesemī"ti.

1. Should any bhikkhunī, not being ill, ask for ghee and consume it, she is to acknowledge it: "Lady, I have committed a blameworthy, unsuitable act that ought to be acknowledged. I acknowledge it." [Bhikkhus' Pācittiya 39]

Telaviññāpanasikkhāpadaṃ
|

|
|
2.Yā pana bhikkhunī agilānā telaṃ viññāpetvā bhuñjeyya - pe - taṃ paṭidesemīti.

2. Should any bhikkhunī, not being ill, ask for oil and consume it, she is to acknowledge it: "Lady, I have committed a blameworthy, unsuitable act that ought to be acknowledged. I acknowledge it." [Bhikkhus' Pācittiya 39]

Madhuviññāpanasikkhāpadaṃ

Phāṇitaviññāpanasikkhāpadaṃ
|

4.Yā pana bhikkhunī agilānā phāṇitaṃ viññāpetvā bhuñjeyya - pe - taṃ paṭidesemīti.

4. Should any bhikkhunī, not being ill, ask for sugar/molasses and consume it, she is to acknowledge it: "Lady, I have committed a blameworthy, unsuitable act that ought to be acknowledged. I acknowledge it." [Bhikkhus' Pācittiya 39]

Macchaviññāpanasikkhāpadaṃ

7. Should any bhikkhunī, not being ill, ask for milk and consume it, she is to acknowledge it: "Lady, I have committed a blameworthy, unsuitable act that ought to be acknowledged. I acknowledge it." [Bhikkhus' Pācittiya 39]

Dadhiviññāpanasikkhāpadaṃ
|
|
|
|
8.Yā pana bhikkhunī agilānā dadhiṃ viññāpetvā bhuñjeyya, paṭidesetabbaṃ tāya bhikkhuniyā "gārayhaṃ, ayye, dhammaṃ āpajjiṃ asappāyaṃ pāṭidesanīyaṃ, taṃ paṭidesemī"ti.

8. Should any bhikkhunī, not being ill, ask for curds and consume it, she is to acknowledge it: "Lady, I have committed a blameworthy, unsuitable act that ought to be acknowledged. I acknowledge it." [Bhikkhus' Pācittiya 39]

Uddiṭṭhā kho, ayyāyo, aṭṭha pāṭidesanīyā dhammā.
|
Recited, venerables, are the eight matters to be acknowledged.
|
|
|
Tatthāyyāyo, pucchāmi, kaccittha parisuddhā, dutiyampi pucchāmi, kaccittha parisuddhā, tatiyampi pucchāmi, kaccittha parisuddhā, parisuddhetthāyyāyo, tasmā tuṇhī, evametaṃ dhārayāmīti.
|
Herein I ask the venerables: Are you pure in this? A second time I ask: Are you pure in this? For the third time I ask: Are you pure in this? The venerables are pure in this; therefore they are silent. So I remember it.

Pāṭidesanīyā niṭṭhitā.
|
