194.Evaṃ imāya gāthāya attano hitādhigamaṃ dassetvā idāni parahitāya paṭipattiṃ dīpento āha "so ahaṃ vicarissāmī"ti.

194. After having shown his own attainment to advantage (hita, welfare) by means of this stanza, in this way, the ogre now spoke (the stanza starting with “So ahaṃ vicarissāmi (that I shall wander about)” in order to shed light on (dīpento) his proper performance (paṭipatti) for the welfare (hita) of others (para) .
