Idha pana, bhikkhave, bhikkhussa kukkuccaṃ uppannaṃ hoti. So ce bhikkhūnaṃ santike dūtaṃ pahiṇeyya – "kukkuccaṃ me uppannaṃ, āgacchantu bhikkhū, icchāmi bhikkhūnaṃ āgata"nti, gantabbaṃ, bhikkhave, sattāhakaraṇīyena, appahitepi, pageva pahite – "kukkuccaṃ vinodessāmi vā, vinodāpessāmi vā, dhammakathaṃ vāssa karissāmī"ti.
