Upasampadāpekkhāyo tatheva vitthāyanti, maṅkū honti, na sakkonti vissajjetuṃ.

As before, those wishing for ordination were at a loss, they were abashed, they were unable to answer.

Bhagavato etamatthaṃ ārocesuṃ.

They told this matter to the Lord.

"Anujānāmi, bhikkhave, ekamantaṃ anusāsitvā saṅghamajjhe antarāyike dhamme pucchituṃ.
|
He said: “I allow them, monks, having instructed aside, to ask about the things which are stumbling-blocks in the midst of the Order.
|
и тот молвил: «Я позволяю монахиням, проинструктировав вне общины, спрашивать о препятствующих факторах в присутствии общины.

Evañca pana, bhikkhave, anusāsitabbā.
|
And thus, monks, should she be instructed:
