‘Because of bearing their own characteristics’: these are not like the Primordial Essence (pakati—Skr. prakºti) and the self (attā) imagined by the theorists which are non-existent as to individual essence.Capitals have been used here and elsewhere though Indian alphabets do not justify it. Appāyati—“to satisfy” is not in PED; see Vibh-a 9.
