Comm. KT: “Entrusted to the senior monk”: The meaning is: dependent on the senior monk, possessed by the senior monk. There is also the reading, therādheyyaṁ. Thus the senior monk should recite himself or request another. The method of requesting here is in the manner already stated in the (section on the) Dhamma-request.
