Ayaṃ pana vesālī bhagavato uppannakāle iddhā vepullappattā ahosi.

Now at the time when the Blessed One had appeared [in the world] Vesäli was prosperous and enjoying abundance.

Когда в мир пришёл Благословенный, город Весали был процветающим и богатым.

Tattha hi rājūnaṃyeva satta sahassāni satta satāni satta ca rājāno ahesuṃ.
|
And there were seven thousand seven hundred and seven regents there,
|
Там было 7707 наместников.
|
|
|
Tathā yuvarājasenāpatibhaṇḍāgārikappabhutīnaṃ.
|
and likewise junior regents, generals, custodians, and so on,
|
И столько же младших наместников, военачальников, хранителей и прочих.
