Anupādiyaṃna paritassatīti anupādiyanto taṇhādiṭṭhimānaparitassanāyāpi na paritassati.

"Not clinging, he is not agitated." He is not agitated (na paritassati) by the agitations of craving, views, or conceit.

Aparitassanti aparitassamāno.

Paccattaṃyeva parinibbāyatīti attanāva kilesaparinibbānena parinibbāyati.

“He personally attains nibbána”: he himself attains nibbána through the extinguishing of the defilements.

Evaṃ parinibbutassa panassa paccavekkhaṇāpavattidassanatthaṃ khīṇā jātītiādi vuttaṃ.
|
“Destroyed is birth,” etc.: this is said to show the reviewing knowledge that occurs to one who has attained nibbána.
