Tena kho pana samayena chabbaggiyā bhikkhū na icchanti vassaṃ upagantuṃ.

Now at that time the group of six monks did not want to enter upon the rains.

Bhagavato etamatthaṃ ārocesuṃ.

They told this matter to the Lord.

They reported the matter to the Blessed One.

Na, bhikkhave, vassaṃ na upagantabbaṃ.
|
He said: “Monks, one should not not enter upon the rains.
|
“Monks, one should not not enter for the Rains.
|
Он сказал: "Монахи, монах не должен отказываться входить в сезон дождей.
|
|
|
Yo na upagaccheyya, āpatti dukkaṭassāti.
|
Whoever should not enter upon (them), there is an offence of wrong-doing.”
|
Whoever does not enter: an offense of wrong doing.”
|
Тому, кто откажется, засчитать нарушение "дурной поступок"".
