161.Assosi kho ambapālī gaṇikā – "bhagavā kira vesāliṃ anuppatto vesāliyaṃ viharati mayhaṃ ambavane"ti.

16. Then Ambapali the courtesan came to know: "The Blessed One, they say, has arrived at Vesali and is now staying in my Mango Grove."
|
Then Ambapālī the courtesan19 heard, “The Blessed One, they say, has arrived at Vesālī and is staying near Vesālī in my mango [amba] grove!”
|
2.14.Now Ambapali the courtesan383 heard that the Lord had arrived at Vesall and was staying at her grove.
|
Куртизанка Амбапали услышала: "Говорят, что Благословенный прибыл в Весали и остановился в моей манговой роще".
|
2.14. И ганика Амбапали услышала, что Благостный достиг Весали и пребывает [там] в Весали, в ее манговой роще.

Atha kho ambapālī gaṇikā bhaddāni bhaddāni yānāni yojāpetvā bhaddaṃ bhaddaṃ yānaṃ abhiruhitvā bhaddehi bhaddehi yānehi vesāliyā niyyāsi.
|
And she ordered a large number of magnificent carriages to be made ready, mounted one of them herself, and accompanied by the rest,
|
Then, having auspicious vehicles yoked, she got into an auspicious vehicle, left Vesālī with the auspicious vehicles
|
She had the best carriages made ready
|
Тогда куртизанка Амбапали велела запрячь великолепные колесницы и взойдя на одну из них выехала из Весали
|
И вот ганика Амбапали приказала запрячь самые лучшие колесницы, взошла на лучшую колесницу и в сопровождении самых лучших колесниц выехала из Весали

Yena sako ārāmo tena pāyāsi.
|
drove out from Vesali towards her park.
|
and drove toward her own garden [the grove].
|
and drove from Vesali to her park.
|
и отправилась в свой парк.
|
и приблизилась к своей роще.
|

|
Yāvatikā yānassa bhūmi, yānena gantvā, yānā paccorohitvā pattikāva yena bhagavā tenupasaṅkami; upasaṅkamitvā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā ekamantaṃ nisīdi.
|
She went by carriage as far as the carriage could go, then alighted; and approaching the Blessed One on foot, she respectfully greeted him and sat down at one side.
|
Going in her vehicle as far as there was ground for a vehicle, getting down from her vehicle, she approached the Blessed One on foot. On arrival, having bowed down to him, she sat to one side.
|
She drove as far as the ground would allow, then alighted and went on foot to where the Lord was. She saluted the Lord and sat down to one side,
|
Подъехав на колеснице так близко, насколько позволяла дорога, она вышла и пешком подошла к Благословенному. Подойдя к Благословенному она выразила своё почтение и села в одной стороне от него.

Проехав на колеснице, сколько позволяла колеснице дорога, она спустилась с колесницы и пешком приблизилась к Благостному; приблизившись, она приветствовала Благостного и села в стороне.

Ekamantaṃ nisinnaṃ kho ambapāliṃ gaṇikaṃ bhagavā dhammiyā kathāya sandassesi samādapesi samuttejesi sampahaṃsesi.
|
And the Blessed One instructed Ambapali the courtesan in the Dhamma and roused, edified, and gladdened her.
|
As she was sitting there, the Blessed One instructed, urged, roused, & encouraged her with a talk on Dhamma.
|
and as she sat, the Lord instructed, inspired, fired and delighted her with a talk on Dhamma.
|
Сидящую в одной стороне куртизанку Амбапали Благословенный радовал, восхищал, побуждал и вдохновлял беседой о Дхамме.
|
И Благостный наставил, побудил, воодушевил, порадовал сидящую в стороне ганику Амбапали добродетельной беседой.
|

Atha kho ambapālī gaṇikā bhagavatā dhammiyā kathāya sandassitā samādapitā samuttejitā sampahaṃsitā bhagavantaṃ etadavoca – "adhivāsetu me, bhante, bhagavā svātanāya bhattaṃ saddhiṃ bhikkhusaṅghenā"ti.
|
17. Thereafter Ambapali the courtesan spoke to the Blessed One, saying: "May the Blessed One, O Lord, please accept my invitation for tomorrow's meal, together with the community of bhikkhus."
|
Then Ambapālī the courtesan—instructed, urged, roused, & encouraged with the Blessed One’s talk on Dhamma—said to him, “Lord, may the Blessed One acquiesce to my meal tomorrow, together with the Saṅgha of monks.
|
And being thus delighted, Ambapali said: 'Lord, may the Lord consent to take a meal from me tomorrow with his order of monks!'
|
И тогда куртизанка Амбапали обрадованная, восхищённая, побуждённая и вдохновлённая беседой о Дхамме так сказала Благословенному: "Пусть досточтимый Благословенный примет приглашение пожаловать ко мне завтра на трапезу вместе с собранием монахов".

И вот наставленная, побужденная, воодушевленная, обрадованная добродетельной беседой с Благостным, ганика Амбапали так сказала Благостному: «Господин, пусть Благостный вместе с толпой монахов согласится [принять] у меня завтра пищу».

Adhivāsesi bhagavā tuṇhībhāvena.
|
And by his silence the Blessed One consented.
|
” The Blessed One acquiesced with silence.
|
The Lord consented by silence,
|
И Благословенный молча согласился.
|
И Благостный безмолвно согласился.
|
|
|
Atha kho ambapālī gaṇikā bhagavato adhivāsanaṃ viditvā uṭṭhāyāsanā bhagavantaṃ abhivādetvā padakkhiṇaṃ katvā pakkāmi.
|
Sure, then, of the Blessed One's consent, Ambapali the courtesan rose from her seat, respectfully saluted him, and keeping her right side towards him, took her departure.
|
Then Ambapālī the courtesan, understanding the Blessed One’s acquiescence, got up from her seat and, bowing down to him and circumambulating him, left.
|
and Ambapali, under-standing his acceptance, rose from her seat, saluted the Lord and, passing him by to the right, departed.
|
Тогда куртизанка Амбапали, поняв, что Благословенный согласился, встала со своего места, выразила ему почтение, уважительно обошла вокруг Благословенного и удалилась.
|
Тогда ганика Амбапали, узнав о согласии Благостного, поднялась с сиденья, приветствовала Благостного и, обойдя [его] с правой стороны, удалилась.
