He destroys life, takes what is not given, engages in sexual misconduct, speaks falsely, and indulges in liquor, wine, and intoxicants, the basis for heedlessness.

Imehi kho, bhikkhave, pañcahi dhammehi samannāgato upāsako yathābhataṃ nikkhitto evaṃ niraye.
|
Possessing these five qualities, a lay follower is deposited in hell as if brought there.

Интересно как, ведь в ДН 20 говорится, что само по себе принятие прибежища избавляет от дурных уделов надолго.
