Dhutaṅgapakiṇṇakakathāvaṇṇanā
Idamatthitā—”that specific quality”: “Owing to these profitable states it exists, (thus it is ‘specific by those’; imehi kusaladhammehi atthi = idam-atthi). The knowledge by means of which one who has gone forth should be established in the refuse-rag-wearer’s practice, etc., and by means of which, on being so instructed one undertakes and persists in the ascetic qualities—that knowledge is idamatthitā
