Añño bodhisattassa kese chindituṃ yuttarūpo natthi, tato "sayameva khaggena chindissāmī"ti dakkhiṇena hatthena asiṃ gaṇhitvā vāmahatthena moḷiyā saddhiṃ cūḷaṃ gahetvā chindi, kesā dvaṅgulamattā hutvā dakkhiṇato āvattamānā sīsaṃ allīyiṃsu.
