Evaṃ bhagavā satta bhave ādiyatopi ariyasāvakassa aññehi appahīnabhavādānehi puggalehi visiṭṭhaguṇavasena saṅgharatanassa guṇaṃ vatvā idāni tameva guṇaṃ nissāya saccavacanaṃ payuñjati "idampi saṅghe"ti.

97.When the Blessed One had thus stated a special quality of the Community-Jewel as the special quality that, even if he takes seven [more] existences, distinguishes a noble disciple from other persons who have not abandoned being (existence), he now invoked a Truth-Utterance, namely, This. . . in the Community, which has for its support that same special quality.

Когда Благословенный объяснил таким образом благое качество драгоценности Сообщества при котором даже если он принимает ещё семь рождений, оно выделяет последователя благородных от других личностей, которые не устранили перерождение, он прибегнул к провозглашению истины, а именно "idampi saṅghe...", в качестве опоры которого выступает уже упомянутое благое качество.
