| Ye kāye kāyānupassino viharanti, tesaṃ cittaṃ anunayappaṭighena na viharati anunayappaṭighena cābhiramamānassa cittaṃ samaggataṃ bhavissatīti bhāvanāya balametaṃ, ayaṃ vicayo hāro. | When [people] abide contemplating the body, their cognizance does not abide with approval 1 and resistance, and when someone does not 2 delight in approval and resistance his cognizance will become even (1),3 so this is the power of keeping in being. This is the Mode of Conveying an Investigation. |
