"Dutiyopi samaṇo natthi.

Suññā parappavādā samaṇebhi aññehi.
|
Devoid of true ascetics are the systems of other teachers.

Other teachings are empty of knowledgeable contemplatives.

Other schools of such are bare,

В других учениях [настоящих] отшельников нет.
|
Прочие ложные учения лишены [истинных] отшельников —
|

|
Ime ca, subhadda, bhikkhū sammā vihareyyuṃ, asuñño loko arahantehi assā"ti.
|
But if, Subhadda, the bhikkhus live righteously, the world will not be destitute of arahats."
|
And if the monks dwell rightly, this world will not be empty of arahants.”
|
But if here monks live perfectly, The world won't lack for Arahants.' 444
|
Но если, Субхадда, монахи будут жить надлежащим образом, мир не останется без арахантов."
|
пусть же, Субхадда, монахи надлежащим образом следуют этому [моему учению], и мир не будет лишен архатов».
