"Dhammadhāraṇāya pana, bho gotama, katamo dhammo bahukāro?

29. "But what, Master Gotama, is most helpful for memorising the teachings ?
|

Dhammadhāraṇāya bahukāraṃ dhammaṃ mayaṃ bhavantaṃ gotamaṃ pucchāmā"ti.
|
We ask Master Gotama about the thing most helpful for memorising the teachings ."

"Dhammadhāraṇāya kho, bhāradvāja, dhammassavanaṃ bahukāraṃ.
|
"Hearing the Dhamma is most helpful for memorising the teachings, Bharadvaja .
|
"Бхарадваджа, слушание Дхаммы оказывает большую помощь запоминанию учений.
|
|
|
No cetaṃ dhammaṃ suṇeyya, nayidaṃ dhammaṃ dhāreyya.
|
If one does not hear the Dhamma, one will not memorise the teachings;
|

|

|
Yasmā ca kho dhammaṃ suṇāti tasmā dhammaṃ dhāreti.
|
but because one hears the Dhamma, one memorises the teachings .

Tasmā dhammadhāraṇāya dhammassavanaṃ bahukāra"nti.
